Congress has been very active in exploring the violent deaths in Benghazi. Let's hope that they will put equal energies and those of their staffs in stopping gun violence in the US. We are always told that the highest duty of government is protecting its citizens. Let's hope that also means first graders and their teachers.

So did the bill go for a vote yet?

Not once was the underlying issue of the devaluing of our currency due to money-printing and unsustainable deficits mentioned. however, I wasn't expecting it to be coming from a governor who ran my state into the dirt and a senator who lies about his military service. We have the government we deserve.

Thank you for taking a stand and helping get this issue front and center. This is wonderful and if passed will be a huge deterrent that will help put an end to this horrific "sport."
